The 8HDA5+ in our configuration comes with most of the features that one would want on a motherboard, including dual LAN, 7.1 sound and a total of 6 SATA ports. However, surprisingly missing (even with all the options included) is the presence of firewire ports. However, an enthusiast would be able to appreciate the 2-digit hexadecimal debug system that exists on every EpoX board.

The Package

The 8HDA5+ Powerpack comes with a few extras bundled in. EpoX bundles in rounded IDE cables, a mini screwdriver and a set of mini heatsinks which EpoX suggests putting on the capacitors or on your RAM chips. Unlike many other motherboards, there are relatively few headers, as most of the ports are on the back panel instead.
