Man, after 1.5 years of dealing with the first crosshair I want nothing to do with this one. The NICs have been flaky since day one and memory has always been a huge pain that once you get it workign you don't want to sneeze arround it. yeah Crosshair is the coolist POS mobo I ever owned.

is this about the best mobo for AMD processors then? thinking about getting it since I got a low end mobo atm witha nvidia 9800 GTX. Thanks, Rob.

It's a good motherboard, I would not hesitate getting one.

cheers mate, yea I bought one and I'm juts wating for my new case to come now, I have a AMD Athlon x2 6000+ at the moment but you can upgrade the bios to am2+ Quad processors so I can't complain . Rob

thats the point captain obvious , its a am2+ board ... why has this review not used a phenom cpu ... cause its a waste of time pointless review .. thats why

well yea, but like intel boards on 45nm cpu's they need the bios updating from retail stock. This is a good amd board, end of.

My past reviews were done with an AM2 5000+ X2, so in order for the benchmark results to be meaningful, that's what I had to use.

I'll consider switching to Phenom's, but personally, I'd rather wait for the 45nm Deneb's before switching what processor I use for AM2/AM2+ motherboard testing.
