Asus Crosshair II Formula Review & Overclocking - PAGE 3
William Henning - Wednesday, May 14th, 2008

The BIOS

As soon as I got into the BIOS I immediately liked one thing - that the initial menu is the "Extreme Tweaker" menu. As this board is aimed at enthusiasts, this makes excellent sense, and Asus should be commended for it.

Unfortunately Asus must have gotten tired of the plain blue background with white text and has a graphic splash behind the BIOS - making it a bit darker and more difficult to read than a plain background. But the organization of the choices is logical, and there are plenty of settings to tweak.

There is really little I can say about the Main menu, its the same old stuff.

The advanced menu is laid out logically, and is pretty standard.
