Having great sound greatly contributes to an immersive gaming experience. These days, it's all about surround sound, allowing the player to locate various noise sources in a virtual environment. While there are headsets featuring a real surround setup, there are other solutions, cheaper most of the time, which try to replicate the surround environment using only a stereo setup.
Corsair, well known for its flash memory-based products and cooling equipment, has recently added another product to its arsenal: the HS1 gaming headset. This represents Corsair's first foray into the audio peripheral world. The HS1, priced reasonably at $100, embraces Dolby Headphone technology to simulate surround sound from its stereo speakers. Can it do it right?

Pretty sure I'm going with these. I'd love a Psyko headset or similar but I don't think I love audio quite that much..and I would take comfort over that most times.
