William Henning - Friday, July 14th, 2006

Business Winstone

Business Winstone is an old benchmark that I am still very fond of as it gives a good indication of the performance difference regular business users would experience.

The stock E6700 turned in a very impressive performance by tying the Athlon FX-62. The FX-60 and the X2 5000+ were close behind, and everyone else at stock speeds was left in the dust.

When overclocked, the FX-62 managed to grab the top spot beating Conroe by 1%, followed by the E6700, then the FX-60, X2 5000+ and Opteron 170.

The enhanced SSE REALLY shows up here on the overclocked results. Look at that Content Creation result for the overclocked E6700!!!

The overclocked Conroe beats the overclocked FX-62 by 5%
