Rightmark Read
Interesting. We saw from the Sandra results that Conroe did not get the highest memory performace prize, and here we can more clearly see why.
The stock Conroe turns in a respectable performance - beating the stock and overclocked FX-60, stock D 930 and stock Opteron 170; and once overclocked, it also manages to beat the stock X2 5000+ and overclocked Opteron 170 - HOWEVER the stock FX-62, and overclocked X2 5000+ / D 930 / FX-62 all beat the overclocked Conroe.
Stock FX-62 beat stock Conroe by 23%.
Overclocked FX-62 beat overclocked Conroe by 6%.
Moral of the story: good read performance, but not the absolutely best available.
Rightmark Write
The Write performance is also not great. The stock Conroe can only beat the stock D 930 for write performance.
Once overclocked, the results are decent, and it manages to beat the stock X2 5000+, the FX-60, D 930 and Opteron 170 - however the stock FX-62 beats it, as does the overclocked Opteron 170 / X2 5000+ / FX-62.
Stock FX-62 beats stock Conroe by 65%. You read right. 65%
Overclocked FX-62 beats overclocked Conroe by 17%
