With Intel's Core i7 processors and their 130W TDP, heat has always been an issue -- especially when ramping up the clocks. For that reason, Intel's stock cooler simply doesn't cut it for us enthusiasts. Coolermaster is a veteran in computer cooling supplies, especially cases and processor heatsinks. They are a very well known name and they just recently introduced yet another heatsink to keep our i7's cool.
The Hyper N620 supports the whole array of modern, and not so modern, processors from both AMD and Intel, except the latest socket, LGA1156, used with the latest Lynnfield processors. The N620 is a rather large tower cooler with six heatpipes and two fans. To wrap this up, it even seems to look pretty good, but let's go ahead and see how it performs.
