Cooler Master Gladiator 600 Review - PAGE 1
Stephen Duffin - Wednesday, August 26th, 2009 Like ShareCooler Master has always been one of the big contenders when it comes to personal computer products. They have consistently engineered and designed some of the great products over the years, that many hardware fans have quite enjoyed. With such a large hardware market out there, and all the other contenders vying for the same dollar, it is paramount that they stay on the cutting edge or die a slow death in a market that will not tolerate second rate products.
When it comes to designing or engineering a chassis, many things are to be taken into consideration, but perhaps the two most prominent topics on the drawing board would be form, and function.
Aesthetics -- they way a product looks; is a case going to impress a large enough percentage of potential buyers? Enough to generate enough sales to make the new design a viable product for any company? It isn't easy to guess what people like as individuals, and it would be impossible to produce one case that everyone loves. So mass appeal is something the case-building companies have to always have foremost on their mind, and it is not a straightforward problem.
What about function? Now this one is a bit easier. Obviously the smart consumer wants the best performance out of a product they purchase, and generally speaking, this has to be balanced against what it costs to produce an item.
No one wants a chassis that looks like a potato -- just as no one wants a chassis that is as sexy as a '69 Mustang Mach 1, but can't keep temperatures below 80 degrees in the winter. It is when both form and function are combined well that a product becomes one that we appreciate, and then decide we want to bring home to meet the family
Today we will be looking at the Cooler Master Gladiator 600 mid-tower chassis. It has very simple lines and a elegant black exterior will it get the thumbs up and survive on the shelves, or will it get the thumbs down and perish! Read on to find out its fate.

should be a good case for the everyday user.
this case doesnt look too bad though, and it seems very sturdy. i like the option for all the additional fan placements as well. not a bad case for its price.
