We have already looked at several products from Cooler Master, but strictly cases and heatsinks, which is their specialty. Just recently, they jumped into a new field -- peripherals. There are many big players in this arena, although two really stand out from the crowd, namely Logitech and Razer.
Most gamers want an awesome looking keyboard and mouse, but it should also perform well enough to feel like they're simply an extension to the body. These new gamer-oriented products from Cooler Master are part of their Storm product line.
The Sentinel Advance marks Cooler Master's entry in gaming mice. It packs all the features a mouse of this caliber should have, from a great appearance to solid specifications, on paper at least. Additionally, a gaming mouse isn't quite perfect without software to back it up so they also include their own tools to further customize the Sentinel.
Of course, a great mouse is nothing without a great mousepad. Without a proper surface, mice don't track very well, which, ultimately, hinders performance. It obviously seems like Cooler Master is aware and is simultaneously introducing the CS-M FPS Tactics DC, a large, thick and amusing, yes, amusing, mousepad.

The pair definitely look like they have what it takes to be solid competitors to the well established players. Let's see if Cooler Master can succeed where many have failed before.
