Included in the package are the stand, its three fans and an elastic band.

The Notepal U3 consists of an aluminum mesh that's been folded on one end to give it an angle. Despite the material and all the mesh holes, it's still very rigid.

All three fans are attached to a small clip via their power cable. Each of them is 80mm in diameter, 10mm thick, and has a security grill. On the small clip is the fan speed dial. All the power comes from the USB connector, so there is no additional power adapter to lug around. There is also a female USB port on the other side, so the number available on the laptop stays the same.

Each fan has a small button that draws its two set of pins closer to each other so that they can fit through any the stand's mesh holes.

Once this button is released, the pins return to their original position, allowing the fans to clip onto the mesh in the desired position. The fan adjustment dial attaches to the side of the stand.

Finally, for transportation, the laptop wrapped by and hung from the elastic band. The side closest to the user while resting on a table then becomes a comfortable rubber handle.
