I think this picutre says it all really

It's pretty sleek although I'd prefer they streamline the exterior more, but the inside is what all modern cases should aim for. I know everyone loves stock primer to paint with but this is magical to see.

If I didn't have the P193 I'd be dying for one of these.

It's not branded as HAF because CM's HAF brand refers to gaming cases and the 690 II is more of a classy case

To each his own, but personally I much prefer the 690's design than the 922

well if you think about it, the fad with this case is the hard drive bay at the top. ill assume it delivers near HAF performance, but a HAF is a HAF because of its HAF. if this delivered such performance, im sure this would have been another HAF. thats why i dont think $100 is worth it for a mere hard drive bay. granted it has its ups, but by comparison, not worth the money.

Not sure why you think it should be cheaper! The standard version is $80 too..

impressive. i would actually consider this over the 922 if it was cheaper. say...$75 or so.

Yeah, the HDD dock is awesome, glad to see I'm not the only one to like this!

hmm... good review but you should have compared it directly with the original CM690.
I don't have one unfortunately

how does this fare against the HAF for temperatures? this is about the same as the 922 in price, so im interested in seeing its performance.
I don't have the 922 either, but fan configuration is very similar so cooling should be right on par. If you only have 2 HDD's (or 1 HDD and 2 SSD), you can remove the rest of the drive cage to improve airflow in the CM 690 II
