Game Benchmarks

Quake III

Here we see that the Zenith board beats out the Asus board by a substantial margin when changing from DDR333 to DDR400. However, as the resolution increases, the graphics card becomes more of a bottleneck than the motherboard chipset.

Comanche 4

The Zenith board scores lower than both the Asus nForce 2 and the Gigabyte KT600 boards. We have yet to determine how this is possible, so we’ll just assume that the other motherboard companies are just slightly better.

Unreal Tournament 2003

Gaming wise, the nForce2 loses to the KT600 board by up to 5%, but compared to use of DDR333, the scores are higher by about 3%.
