Although not yet released, the open-beta for World In Conflict came with a good benchmarking program. A recent article of ours talked about this benchmark in depth, in addition to comparing the differences between the DX 9 and DX 10 rendering of the game. For the foreseable future, this benchmark will be reappearing in our video card reviews, replacing our older Prey and Far Cry benchmarks.

The World In Conflict benchmark likes its video memory -- I'm surprised the 640 MB of the BFG 8800 GTS OC2 didn't seperate further from the pack. In this benchmark, the Powercolor X1950 Pro is nipping at its heels.
