



In X3, the dead-heat contiues between the BFG 8600 GTS OC2 and the XFX 8600 GTS XXX. The Asus standard-clocked GTS lags about 5 FPS behind, and XFX GT stands up surprisngly well to the $100 more expensive chart-topping card. The Powercolor pulls some zany numbers here -- for whatever reason, X3 is HD 2600 XT friendly, and really wails on this ATI card.
In Splinter Cell, the BFG 8600 GTS OC2 has a lopsided showing. While it tops the XFX 8600 GTS XXX without AA/AF, when AA/AF is enabled, the BFG 8600 GTS OC2 takes a back-seat to the XFX card.
On to DirectX 10 territory...
