Bearlake Launch & Gigabyte P35-DS3R Review - PAGE 11
William Henning - Monday, May 21st, 2007

WinRAR

At stock speeds, the Gigabyte P35-DS3R takes fourth place in a field of seven boards; but it was a tight race. The performance with a 1333 FSB is of course significantly higher.

At overclocked speeds, the P35-DS3R takes third place.

HDTach

I am quite frustrated; for some reason recent benchmarks I've run show the motherboards being limited to SATA1 burst speeds. It is almost certainly a driver issue; although I suppose it could be a hotfix.

The IDE performance is not quite as good as previously tested boards.
