be quiet! Dark Rock TF CPU Cooler Review - PAGE 1
Marvin Purdy - Thursday, July 16th, 2015 Like (1) Sharebe quiet! - the market leader in PC power supplies in Germany for nine consecutive years - back in May announced the next addition to their Dark Rock family of high-end heat sink coolers with a new Top Flow model, the Dark Rock TF. The heat sink cooler design incorporates two 135mm Silent Wings fans to help meet the cooling demands of systems set up in compact form factor cases.
The two nickel plated aluminum fin sets of the Dark Rock TF are interconnected with six heat pipes (each 6 mm in diameter) for high performance cooling. With the two Silent Wings mounted and decoupled via rubberized inserts, the cooler will provide up to 220 watts TDP at a maximum of 26.7 decibels of blade noise. Through the addition of fluid dynamic bearings and a 6-pole motor, these two fans are designed for long lasting and quiet operation.
With the design of the Dark Rock TF, you have the option to use only one fan for cases that do not have the height clearance for a 130.8 mm heat sink cooler. be quiet! uses nickel plating, and an aluminum top cover and heat pipe caps to give the Dark Rock TF visual appeal for an attractive appearance in most any system, especially cases with large window panels.
The Dark Rock TF is compatible with all of the current Intel and AMD sockets. This design should prove an interesting review, and I am looking forward to finding out just how well it performs against other heat sink cooler models.
