ATI has produced a quality product that rivals nVidias Ti4600. ATIs new Radeon chip series is a remarkable new chip technology. Originally designed for high-end graphic manipulation, the Radeon chip has proven to be more than just a regular video card but it has evolved far more than that it is now directly challenging nVidia as a gaming card.
Today, as a followup of earlier reviews I did (ATI Radeon 7500, 8500, 9000) I am going to pit ATIs Radeon 9700 Pro against nVidias GeForce4 Ti series. First, lets look at the features of the Radeon 9700.

I have to say, that is a lot of features for the 9700 Pro video card! Taking a look at the back of this card reveals a full range of connectors, VGA DB15 output, Digital Flat Panel, and S-Video. This is a fully featured card and packaged together with the card are S-Video cable, an S-Video to RCA adaptor, and a Digital Flat Panel to VGA adaptor.
