ATI RADEON X1000 Series - PAGE 11
Geordan Hankinson, Terren Tong
- Wednesday, October 5th, 2005

We ran the Far Cry Regulator Demo at ultra settings, with Vsync disabled.

Far Cry reveals a huge lead for the X1800 XT. With filtering on, both 1800 cards perform extremely well, and the X1800XL even manages to nip at the heels of the 7800 GTX with full filtering at 1600 x 1200.

Again, the 1600 XT sits well below the other cards, but still provides decent levels of performance.

Splinter Cell was run with maximum details and vsync disabled.

Splinter Cell lends a victory to the two Nvidia cards, but both the XT and the XL run extremely close to those numbers, offering decent framerates.
