Overclocking
During our recent Core 2 Duo E6400 review I could not help but notice that it was easier to overclock it with high FSB speeds than either our E6700 or our E6600... so when it came time to do our overclocking testing, I switched to our highly overclockable E6400 to see how far I can take the FSB on this board.
Don't worry, I found some overclocked P965/E6400 numbers for comparison purposes :-)
First we have Doom 3... and here the P5W DH shines; the maximum overclocked result at 3.64GHz (yes, you read right) beat all the other tests.

The Asus P5W DH totally dominated the WinRAR tests done with E6400 processors...

And the Sandra tests were also won by the P5W DH when overclocked!
JUST LOOK AT THAT RightMark Read bandwidth score!

The P5D WH comes alive when overclocked. It wins the Write benchmark too.

Once overclocked, the P5W DH also had the best latency numbers.

The 965P boards still won for the bandwidth test, something I don't really understand.

Now how did we get these great numbers? Read on...
