CPU-Z is an extremely handy utility - and since the Atom and the Eee PC 901 are both very new, I thought I'd show you screenshots of every page of CPU-Z.
The CPU tab tells us quite abit about the processor:
- Intel Atom (code name Diamondville) N270 rated for 1.6GHz
- Socket 437 FCBGA8
- 45nm
- 1.013V Vcore
- Revision C0, stepping 2
- supports MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3
- does NOT support VT, AMD64
- 24KB L1 data cache
- 32KB L1 code cache
- 512KB L2 cache
- currently overclocked to 600MHz FSB
- currently running at 6x multiplier due to Speedstep
- 1 core with 2 threads

The Cache tab tells us that the L1 data cache is 6 way set associative, L1 code cache and L2 cache are 8 way set associative, and that all caches use a 64 byte line size.

The mainboard tab tells us that it is manufactured by ASUSTeK, model 901, with an Intel i945GME rev 3 chipset with an ICH7-M/U Southbridge; with an AMI BIOS dated 05/27/2008 version 0304.

The Memory tab informs us that it is currently running the memory as DDR2-600 with a 3-3-3-8 timing.

The SPD tab gives us more information on the memory.

And last, but not least, the About tab tells us which version of CPU-Z we are running, and where you can get a copy; and that the OS on the system is Windows XP Home Edition SP3 with DirectX 9.0c
