Asus GeForce 8800 GTS Review - PAGE 5
Michael Nguyen - Thursday, May 24th, 2007

Far Cry

Well, in the low end off Far Cry, it seems that the Asus EN8800 GT3S 320MB card sits in the lower rankings. But when filtering is turned on, it picks up the pace and runs in the middle of the pack.  Note how both the XFX and Asus 320MB 8800GTS cards have very sudden and steep frame rate drops at 2048x1536 with everything turned on.

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory

With Splinter Cell, we see pretty much the same thing, with a more steady framerate change as resolutions increase. One added note however, the EN8800 GTS 320MB card from Asus doesn't fluctuate wildly in frame rates as som of the other cards do when the filtering is cranked.
