It is in no way a simulator of aircraft, its systems, or armament. I know you said "type" but to even include "simulator" is ridiculous.
Try games like LockOn, X-plane, IL-2, etc...

This has got me wondering how one would run Crysis 2. And how I'd run it with my 8600gt.
You'll have to wait until those are both released.
