AMD FX-60 Review - PAGE 5
William Henning - Tuesday, January 10th, 2006

Sandra CPU Test

Disclaimer: the difference in video cards and drivers would not influence this test, and the results are directly comparable.

What can I say? The FX-60 dominates the Sandra CPU tests. Since Sandra is capable of recognizing and testing dual cores, all dual core processors here significantly outperform their single core bretheren. The overclocked FX-60 result is especially high.

Sandra Memory Test

Disclaimer: the difference in video cards and drivers would not influence this test, and the results are directly comparable.

The memory bandwidth of the overclocked FX-60 was beaten by the processors we were successfully able to run at a 300MHz or higher memory bus speed; not a surprising result - however it did quite well when overclocked.
