AMD Athlon 64 4000+ Review - PAGE 4
William Henning - Tuesday, October 4th, 2005

Sandra CPU Benchmark

The Sandra CPU benchmark highest score is held by the Athlon 4200+x2 - but it has two cores to get that score... the P4 820D also beats the 4000+ single core - not surprising, it too has two cores.

The P4 670 manages to edge out the integer performance, and has a decent lead in FPU and especially SSE2 vs. the 4000+ at stock speeds - however the overclocked 4000+ beats it for integer performance.

Sandra Memory Benchmark

The 4000+ at stock speeds is beat by the P4 670 and 560, even by a small margin by the 820 D... however look at what happens when we run the memory at DD600 and overclock the 4000+ - it trounces the competition!
