Socket AM2: Athlon 64 X2 5000+ - PAGE 9
William Henning, Tom Karpik
- Tuesday, May 23rd, 2006

Cinebench

Well, the overclocked AM2 dominates here, followed by the overclocked FX-60.

The overclocked D 930 takes 14.5% longer than the overclocked AM2 to render the same scene, rendering in the same time that a stock FX-60 or stock AM2 5000+ would take.

Need I point out the lack of performance differential between the stock X2 3800's? Or the same dual core results for the FX-60 and 5000+ at stock speeds?

POVRay SSE

The overclocked D 930 beat the overcloced AM2 by about 5%, they were followed by the overclocked FX-60, and the stock AM2 5000+ performed basically the same as a stock FX-60.
