Abit AB9 Pro Review - PAGE 6
William Henning - Tuesday, October 10th, 2006

RightMark Read

The AB9 Pro does very well here, beating the P5B by a significant margin. We should not be surprised that the Asus P5W DH beats the AB9 Pro, as the P5W uses the higher end 975X chipset.

Frankly, the difference in performance between the P5B and the AB9 is so large that I suspect a BIOS update would do wonders for the P5B.

RightMark Write

Thie results here were a pleasant surprise - when overclocked, the Abit AB9 Pro even beat out the overclocked P5W DH!

That is a result I did not expect.

At stock speeds, the Abit was slightly slower than the Asus P5B.
