Being a mid-tower case there is usually not a lot of room to maneuver around when installing your components. There Element G was very well engineered and makes the task easy by removing the hard drive rack and the PSU heat shield giving plenty of space to work when installing the motherboard.
The seven expansion slots are attached to the chassis and are made to break away so be careful when choosing which ones to push out when doing your install they are not meant to be put back in after removal.
Installing the ODD's is an easy task you will have to remove the front bezel and remove the metal backing plate; replace the bezel and remove the drive bay cover and finally install the drive. The Element G has no quick release retention brackets for the optical drives, so the drives need to be installed with the supplied screws.
As I mentioned earlier the hard disc drive cage is removable and should be out of the chassis at this point making installation of the HDD's very easy. Install the offset screws onto the drives and slide them into the cage making sure that the Sata/IDE port side goes into the cage first. After installing your hard drives slide the cage back into the chassis until you hear it click, then if you wish; put the thumb screws back into the rack to further secure it in to position.
Lastly install the PSU and the heat shield.
