Im almost without words! When the results started to come back from testing this cooler, I had to double-check my equipment! I can hardly believe that a cooler with such a simple looking design could pack such a punch! It proves thus far to be the coolest cooler in the race with the AMD K6-2, both in factory MHZ settings and when over clocked. I was truly amazed that the temperature hardly rose when the CPU was overclocked by 50MHZ.
During testing, I was listening for any rattles that might come from the unique clamps used to secure the Fan to the heatsink, but I heard nothing of the sort and the fan itself ran very quiet.
It was clear that the stock cooler scores were blown out of the water, the FKP32 was nearly 8 degrees Celsius lower in temperature than my stock cooler! What I found interesting, was that the Global Win cooler is using a classic cooler design, only with a bigger heatsink, and fan. Of course there are some major engineering changes, like better heatsink materials used for molding, and a more effective clamping surface as well, and all of these have lead the cooler surpass any stock cooling fan temperature scores Ive seen.
