Over the last few years Corsair has successfully integrated their products into virtually all segments of the PC market, as the once dominant memory giant now also manufactures cases, peripherals, power supplies, thermal solutions, solid state drives, flash drives and audio equipment. Part of Corsair's success in these markets is due to the company having strong brand name recognition, but on top of that all the products they sell are functional, aesthetically pleasing and well built.
One of the lastest products from Corsair is the third installment of their computer chassis line, dubbed the Carbide series. There are two cases being released in the Carbide series. The first is the 400R, which we are examining in this review, and the second is the 500R. Both cases are designed to offer exceptional functionally and include some of the high-end features found in the Graphite and Obsidian series cases, but the Carbide cases are priced considerably lower.
Even with an MSRP of $99, the 400R offers a wide array of support by including eight expansion bays, internal USB 3.0 ports, water cooling support, an innovative cable routing system, tool-free installation and more. From this list we can see that the 400R is a well equipped case that draws inspiration from both the Obsidian and Graphite series, thus allowing Corsair to release a case that offers all the support of a high-end chassis, but at a much lower premium.

wouldve had a winner for me at $100-$150 if it kept the same aesthetics but included them sexy heat zones.
id pay $200 for all that plus factory installed sound dampening foam.
Thanks for the response and checking out our review!
