XFX really shined in this first test: their GT offering trounced Gigabytes', while the XFX GTS was only outperformed by the over-clocked ASUS T.O.P edition.

The Gigabyte GT did not do so well -- particularly on the Particles, and especially on the Vertex Shader Performance test.  The Gigabyte GT card did exceptionally awful on this Vertex Shader test, and was outperformed by a significant margin. The MSI NX8600 GTS however, really shined on this benchmark.  We will see if this translates into better game  performance at the higher-quality settings in the next benchmarks.
