Sins of a Solar Empire took off in a huge way in 2008 and Ironclad, the Vancouver-based developers, are adding another chapter to the epic tale of warring empires. Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment arrives on November 18, but we got invited to the Ironclad HQ for an exclusive look at what's going on with the team behind Stardock's best-selling title.
After being met at the door by Josie, who some of you may recall from her incredible Sins outfit at PAX, I was able to take a look at the cozy Ironclad office where the 10-gamer team works. I sat down with Craig and Blair Fraser to talk about Entrenchment and the first thing that came up was the team's stack of Play-Doh - apparently used for sculpting ship prototypes. It's a humble beginning for the mighty legions of space, but one that really resonates with the nigh-childish enthusiasm of the brothers Fraser.

We had a chance to talk about a lot of different things going on with Sins, from upcoming expansions to the story behind the game, the single-player campaign, mines, Starbases and, of course, the Space Ponies. But first, let's kick things off with the first ever picture of the entire Ironclad team.

And now, for what's on everbody's mind - Starbases.
