NVIDIA nForce 4 SLI for Intel - PAGE 10
Terren Tong - Tuesday, April 5th, 2005

Call of Duty

We had a peek at the Call of Duty results earlier in the sound tests. The nForce/Corsair combo comes up on top by a small amount here, but with higher quality sound enabled, the 925XE takes a drubbing.

Jedi Knight 2

Another fairly big difference between first and third here with roughly a 9% difference. It looks like NVIDIA's time spent on their memory controller is definitely paying off.

UT2k4

Half-Life 2

Half-Life 2 is notoriously processor bound but that does not stop the nForce 4 with the low latency Corsair to pull away from the 925XE and the higher latency OCZ DDR2.

DOOM 3

The differences in DOOM 3 are less than what we have seen in some of the other games but the nForce/Corsair still lead.
