And now for a change away from first-person-shooters, we have the innovative RTS World In Conflict.

Sierra listed the requirements for this game as 2.0 / 2.2 GHz for single core processors in XP / Vista, and recommends any dual core processor for the game, or a single core 2.5 GHz or faster. After a bit of forum diving however, some gamers claimed that these requirements were a bit on the low side, and a single core at 2.5 GHz could not supply enough horsepower to run the game smoothly.

It looks like the magic number, 2.2 GHz, is again where performance benefits taper off from increasing the processor speed. Going from 2.2 GHz to 3.0 GHz barely increased performance by a few frames per second.
