A quick look at CrossFire performance: Catalyst 8.7 & Vista - PAGE 4

The HD 4870 (*2) setup works fairly well here: a second HD 4870 adds about 27% more performance at the maximum resolution. The HD 4870 gaining a HD 4850 sees some benefit at the highest resolution, but not enough to justify the purchase, for this game.
