"... proven more than capable of holding their own in this genre occupied by giants." Missed opportunity for pun.

Awesome review! I totally agree with the score of 9/10 and am happy to see it held in such high esteem. Really liked this quote from your article:
quote
Everything feels deliberate, thanks to how well all the components – from Titans to parkour – fit together seamlessly.
I really feel the same, I think the developers made sure that everything was purposefully and carefully laid in place. A prime example of this I thought (and found out today) was the ability to detach from the Zip Line and continue falling at the same direction and speed; I'm more of a physics junkie so I'm glad to see they considered this aspect and, as you said, made it feel natural and deliberate.

Great review, and 40 seconds off your next Titan for the title.

Great review and really on note with my own feelings about the game, I'm just glad to have a game that pulled me back into FPS after a few years of not really caring and finding nothing that quite matched the experience of COD 4 for me. Now Titanfall is a very different game of course thanks to the sheer amount of scale they've gone for it and the maneuverability too but it's just got that refreshing touch of feeling like they've nailed it that makes me just want to keep on playing, especially when there's a group of you playing together

Not a FPS fan in any way, but I'm actually interested after reading multiple reviews, including this one. Great review.

And bluexy, no more puns please.

Oh god, that scary hideous face.

Guess I'll give it a shot. A friend of mine just got the game.

Can't wait to get this on 360! I just hope it's not clobbered compared to the Xbox One version.

This gae has perhaps the best multiplayer FPS action ever created, but damn they missed an opportunity here for a truly amazing single-player story mode too. I can only imagine the incredible possibilities that a Titanfall Campaign mode could show us, I mean really raise the bar for single-player games. I know that doing do would most likely have forced them to make compromises when it came to the MP, but it still saddens me a little.

I do think they could have bulked up the single player with a little more content. I like to get emotionally invested in my characters and see them change with dynamic values, so this was a disappointment in my opinion. I think with the first Titanfall now out, though, if they have plans to make a Titanfall 2, they know what to expect and focus on.
