Rented it, played through campaign, did some deniable ops, then brought it back to blockbuster cause the time was up. It is a good game.

good review, I really am on the edge of getting this game, but it seems to lack replay value compared to other games. I might wait until the price goes down or if I get a gift card of some sort.

Nice review! The game was fun, though a bit easy even on Realistic difficulty.

I enjoyed it but I guess I miss the old stealthy Splinter Cell games. Unfortunately I doubt we'll be going back to those now.

I fully support your decision.
I did indeed like the game overall, but full price may leave a sour taste in your mouth.

I really miss many elements from the first game, and the humor from the later games.
Why so serious, Sam Fisher?

so this game isnt really stealthy anymore? it seemed somewhat from the demo, although not as much as previous games, but i actually welcomed the change in favor of more combat.

The game does provide stealth options, sure.
But overall, I think the design favors combat, and I don't really consider ducking behind cover like that to be "stealth" -- more cover shooter.
