Sapphire Radeon HD 6870 DiRT 3 Edition Review - PAGE 6

Futuremark's latest 3DMark 2011 is designed for testing DirectX 11 hardware running on Windows 7 and Windows Vista. The benchmark includes six all new benchmark tests that make extensive use of all the new DirectX 11 features including tessellation, compute shaders and multi-threading.

The HD 6870 DiRT 3 edition once again put up strong performance numbers, and like the last benchmark managed to perform better than the reference model though the difference was minimal. However, once overclocked, the performance improved significantly and actually put up numbers close to that of the HD 6950.
