Daaaamn! The Neoseeker writing team have been ultra busy these last few weeks.. I'm impressed. It hasn't taken this site long to get to a level where quality reviews are being pumped out constantly to an extremely high standard. What I personally like is the lack of bias in any review, I mean compare the Skyrim review on here to the one on GameTrailers, they compared Skyrim with MW3 how the *bleep* does a journalist manage to do that? Anyway keep up the good work guys both the software reviewers and the hardware reviewers do a stellar job.

Really liked the Saints Row III review, it confirmed just how fun this game is going to be. It almost makes me feel bad that I won't be buying this game on day one as I can't juggle both Skyrim and this game, but it's nice to know that a great game will be waiting for me when I do pick it up...

PS. Now that we know Saints Row IV will be with us within the next year or two, I would love for Volition to parody GTA IV in trailers. They could do so much to really take this piss out of the "realism" in that game.

I have an idea for a trailer like that.

The main characters could be doing extremely boring and realistic things in front of the camera, like basically just standing in line at a store and standing around at a bus stop for like 2 minutes and talking about the boringest stuff imaginable, like weather and such.

And in both at least 2 minute scenes there could be a lot of completely insane stuff going on the back-ground.

Like for example, the whole trailer focuses on the intense realism of getting to stand in line and later wait for a bus and coincidentally there's like jet-packs and rainbow-ninjas and such shooting automatic rocket-launchers and doing Genki stuff in the back-ground.

Randome, Haha yeah that kind of stuff would be absolutely awesome.. I had an idea for a trailer.

quote Idea
It starts with the main character driving, the phone rings. They answer it and are being asked to go bowling. At which point the main character throws the phone out the window and speeds off.

An announcer comes in and says something like.

"Other games may make you do boring shit, but we're just not that kind of game!"

It's then followed by a short 10 second fast montage of insane crap before revealing the release date.
They could do an entire ad campaign like that following 'driving physics', 'depressing storylines' and so on each with the same announcer tagline and a different montage of insane stuff.

Awesome review, RabidChinaGirl. I am SO GLAD you are one of the reviewers who are reviewing this game on its own merits rather than based on the GTA IV template, which I think is a huge mistake. I also like the fact that you are not trying to impose standards of social mores on your perception of this game and evaluating the title on its intent to be pure, unadulterated fun.

Seriously, one of the best reviews of ST: TT I have seen so far.

Thanks guys, appreciate the feedback.
Still keeping busy, since ACR dropped in my lap this morning!

BlackLabel No worries, waiting on Saints to play Skyrim first.
I think you've got your priorities straight.
Both great games in their own way, but I'd probably have to pick Skyrim first.

@@RabidChinaGirl - Nice review For me, the game feels just like SR2, but with some improvements and a fresh coat of paint. Certainly it performs better than 2 did on the PC.

I will note that while I don't generally get texture pop in, it HAS happened. Just once that I can recall, I was driving rather fast, turned a corner and drove down to an intersection and as I turned again (turning right) I noticed the ground was just a solid mass of color, then the texture popped in >_>

I'm liking the ideas for SR4 trailers Blacklabel and Randome. Especially yours, blacklabel (I would suggest that rather than an announcer, the character himself/herself says "Who wants to do that shit?" and then throws the phone away in disgust, and goes back to shooting shit up)....Yeah seriously, the Saints Row games are what GTA SHOULD have evolved into, crazy over the top stuff, rather than going the realism route.
