So after year of waiting for this NFS, i'm severely disappointed. It's a new Burnout game with the NFS logo. This was supposed to be the NFS game that set the franchise back on track, but it's totally obliterated it. The cars feel like boats, and once you start turning, they never stop. The whole billboard destroying thing is back, along with the restricted gates. If you gave this game to someone without telling them what game it was, they'd immediately say Burnout. So glad i didn't buy it before i tried it, as it would most certainly have been £40 wasted.

Disappointing that it's not more like the original but I have still found it fun. Just wish you could buy the cars, customise them and go up the performance ladder as the game goes on. The fact that you can complete the main story (the Most Wanted cars) so soon means that the game doesn't have much playability and completing all the races for all the cars might be a bit tedious.

I probs wont play it again. Racing games are getting less and less, and good ones...well there hasn't been a good city-roamer since Midnight Club LA.

Different than I expected, but still really fun. I really enjoyed the Most Wanted Cars story, but I think it should've been twice as long. If you're expecting it to be a lot like the original, prepare to be disappointed, but if you just judge the game on it's own, it's quite fun and an ice compromise between the original and the Burnout series.

One weird thing, it took me forever to figure out how to use custom soundtracks, but luckily the game came with a pretty good list of tunes to begin with, and they had a great variety - from Muse's epic rocker "Butterfly and Hurricanes" to the Chemical Brothers and Q-Tips hip-hop electro anthem "Galvanize" and even some cool indie soul/funk like "Unconsolable" by Ambassadors. Really was into almost everything other than Avenged Sevenfold, but I suppose there are people who like that, too.
