Well at least someone in the game is half naked....just not my type! LOL Great review. I'm assuming 1200 points is close to $15? I probably wouldn't pick it up for that much, but ya never know what boredom brings ya!

yup $15. the demo was really fun actually, i liked it. not sure if i can shell out 15 bones for it though. it is a strange take on the Tomb Raider series though, i was taken aback at first but it plays really well and the controls are quite solid.

It's amazing what simple little games like Smash TV (probably not the best example, but it kinda looks like it to me) can influence even a couple of decades later.

Excellent review as usual. Might pick it up when it gets cheaper (if it does, that is)

Sorry but I think your review is total garbage.

Obviously wriiten by someone who thinks multiplayer is far better than single player mode.

Let me tell you something it is not. Online and co-op play stink to high heaven and I wish to god games companies would get that through their heads that not all of us like online play.

I see that Square used some brains and the game only has 1 online/co-op achievement.

The 1 player mode is AMAZING! If the reviewer found he needed breaks playing those levels I hate to think what he would be like playing the origionals on the PS! The level hardness and longness still compare to the origional games. That is something they need to work on.

Also I could give a 100 games with far more taxing levels than this game.

The levels in Guardian Of Light cant compare to those.

The game has fantastic action sequences and puzzles.

All in all a truly excellent game. Lara and Tomb Raider is back in my life after a year. Cant wait for the next game and the DLC's for this.

Overall score 10/10

Best £10 I have spent in a long time.

Nice review, I doubt I will find anybody who would want to co-op the game with me. I don't have it yet, but I felt they should of made the game a full game instead of a arcade title.

Glad you guys liked the read.

The co-op is pretty great, though the lack of online play on XBLA at the moment is pretty annoying (and odd).
I forgot to mention, but a great way to improve the crappy single-player would've been to make Totec an AI partner.

Right now, watching him curse his nemesis as he runs off at the beginning of every stage (ditching Lara) is pretty damn hilarious though.

Gosh, he'd totally be my type if he didn't have such a goofy voice.
The dynamic between him and Lara is pretty weird though.

Yeah, Hoggys2much is always right. You only didn't like the game because you are stupid and can't solve puzzles and there is no other reason why anybody could possibly dislike this game [/sarcasm].

I played the demo a little and didn't like it, I suppose I'll give the co-op a chance if I find somebody who has it, but for the time being, my shitty single player and fun co-op game is Harmony of Despair.

Complaining about a review is one of the biggest wastes of time ever. The primary purpose of a video game review is to help you decide if you should purchase it.

I can understand being upset if you feel a review is misleading and you fork out money for an 'emotionally epic masterpiece with a 30 hour campaign' that turns out to be quite the opposite.

In your case, you disagree because you've already purchased the game. So in a way you have no business even reading the review. So what if the reviewer had a different experience or level of enjoyment, it doesn't effect you in anyway because 1. You already purchased it and 2. You already enjoyed it.

So what possible logic could you have to be upset at a review you disagree with? Why rant about it? Why not just move on?

And why do it twice in the same thread?

I actually just downloaded this game and I've been having a blast playing it with my wife. It's nice simple casual fun.

I find it funny that Hoggys moans about online, when the game doesn't even have online capabilities (just yet, anyway).

Whatever. Rabidchinagirl scores another touchdown with this review, that's for sure!
