They're really hammering out technical flaws rather fast, which is nice. I think the only fix I felt like I had a wait on, was the Skillpoint Challenge in Bayt Fallahin of Malchor's Leap. That fix happened...four days or so after I found it broken. So a decently long wait on that. Overall I've found a total of 5 bugged challenges, and the rest were fixed very quickly. Considering the game has like, 500 or so, that's a pretty good ratio. The only bug I run across on a daily basis that always, always gets on my nerves is when the game marks an enemy as Invulnerable, when it could clearly have attacked me anyway. So usually when fighting on a slope of some kind. That got old fast.

I think the major problems they're currently facing is from players themselves, stuff like super-speed running that quickly starts to deteriorate the economy and balance of the PvE content. They've done a lot of quick fixes to stop unintentionally large gains, but these things also hit real players very hard. So hopefully they'll find a good balance here soon. The Sept 25th patch really did a lot of good for dungeon rewards, but that still needs some fine-tuning, and open world needs larger fixes to it's reward systems as well.

Lorx Yep. Pretty much agree with you on the player aspect. I maxed Cooking before the nerf, but imagine my momentary panic when I logged in, went to the Cooking Station, and could not find Eggs.

I still haven't really touched cooking, found like, 9235871 butter though. So I'll probably get started on it after Huntsman.

Currently alot of skillpoints got broken that weren't in the first few weeks (such as Metrica Province). I think they do a good job fixing skillpoints, I remember on day 1 or 2 there was a skillpoint bugged and it was fixed by the next day. Bayt Fallin was bugged for 16 days or something though, so that came out rather late. Personally I had already done it before the masses got there. I do hope they will fix their dungeon DR system soon as I only got 15 tokens rather than 60 on the first run etc. Overall this game is really good, I'm guessing it'll take a few months before all bugs are out.

One thing you forgot to mention about Structured PvP is that as in GW1, you can join it and play as a level 80 with the appropriate gear and all skills required right off the bat at lvl 1.

Yeah that Skritt skillpoint in Queensdale worked on release.

I think a lot of it, is enemies bouncing out of range. If they have a dash, maybe glitching out and using it through a wall or something. I've had a skillpoint before where the enemy I needed to kill, was halfway across the map for some reason. I had given up on the skillpoint, thinking it's bugged, and then suddenly got it from a mob half an hour later.

LloydToS This genuinely surprised me. When I sped my way to 80, I'd only encountered maybe one or two bugs with various zone events like skill points and such. Later on, in Orr, a lot of the escort quests seemed to bug out.

Then I began hearing from lowbie guildies how this was bugged and that was bugged. Pretty lame.

Right on, about the PVP. Forgot to mention that. Structured PVP is a lot of fun.

Indeed Lorx, from what I've seen there are alot of problems with the terrains causing these mobs to get stuck. But there are also skillpoints which just outright bug due to the event not being scripted/made properly. Without getting a chance to look under the hood you can already guess some of the issues with escorts for example.
