It's already out, the success of the game depends on the audience, old fans will find few reasons to play or keep playing the game while only the new generation of their audience will be cheering the game on.

The band had two identities for music and poorly attempted to cater to both in the set list.

Well, for the record, the masters of 1039, Kerplunk, and Shenanigans were unusable in their current format. The band has just recently gone through the process of changing the masters through baking or something like that into something usable by the current Rock Band setup. Perhaps we might be seeing 1039 and Kerplunk as DLC.

Though the game did heavily ignore songs from Insomniac and Nimrod, which I will give you credit for that point. Otherwise, including the entire Dookie album was the best they could do.

Yes true. Dookie does have alot of great songs but at least put in 21 guns but i think they didnt because you could buy it in rock band 2 shops.

That's exactly why they didn't. It woulda ripped off the people who already paid for it in Rock Band 2. Which is why they made it fully compatible with Green Day: Rock Band, animations and vocal harmonies (along with the other 5 21CB songs released).
