Very good and insightful review. This DLC may rekindle my flame for this game after all. Glad to see they kept the humor rolling alone and that the story is not too dark. The lack of recurring characters seems to be a bone-headed move though.

I remember a VERY similar post in Fable 3 forum, though it's probably just a deja vu

We try to promote our own content to our users as much as possible.
You wanna help us out with that so we don't need to spam you guys?

Sure, can you make me mod or something so I can also abuse of my authority pretending I'm right just 'cause I'm a moderator? That'd be a refreshing change

battousai Nah, that's not necessary.
All that we need is for our readers to promote our content to each other.
Like... a human social network.

Ah, so you see now why I so eagerly want to be a mod? To be able to bend reality, such like transforming words like spamming into "social networking" that's just... godly

battousai This is the way we run the website -- we promote our content through the forums and other areas, and most people are happy for it. There is no "right" -- it's just how it's done. If you don't like that, you're not required to subject yourself to it. Trolling here will not change the way we run the site -- submitting civilized feedback on articles and/or in the feedback thread may. Please don't take from the potentially fun and interesting discussion that could take place here, or we will have to look into mod action.

rabidchinagirl is not a moderator -- she is a member of the staff. Treat her with respect.

Holy hell, back-up is here! But well, this just proves how the 'chosen ones' make all the rules for themselves, and you're talking about respect? I thought you almighty knew that respect is earned, never imposed, or is that new in the rules section?

But well, there's no need to make threats, I know my place very well, I'll always be wrong in the eyes of the all powerful editors, you've clearly demonstrated your superiority, if there's no further 'attitude correction' to be done on my person, I shall retreat back to the bottom of my "bridge" fair enough?

Yeah, it's a nice little chunk of content. The new environments are interesting and fun to explore, some of the new characters are rather cool...and I love the Prison Guard outfit, even if you can't dye the jacket. I've been saying since day 1 how much I wanted the elite soldier outfit.

battousai Hm, it's starting to sound like there are some pretty deep-seated issues there that we are unaware of.
I'm not really sure what sort of drama happened between you and Neo's moderators in the past, but perhaps it would be best to keep that drama between you guys and out of an unrelated thread?

I should probably note that the staff (that's us) are not the same as the moderators you are likely used to dealing with, in that our responsibilities and roles on Neo are different.
We're in charge of writing the site's content and sometimes help Redemption and company determine what direction the site should take.
We do not make the forum rules, nor do we actively enforce them.

The writers have been posting our features in applicable forums for quite some time now (well over a year), and generally, that is no more than twice -- one under general platform, the other under the specific game forum.
We don't mean to spam or "abuse" whatever "powers" we have; rather, we hope to share our work with the userbase.
It is unfortunate you do not enjoy our written works, because the more you guys (users) read our features and news (frontpage), the longer Neoseeker can continue to exist.

SPAZwazza I didn't mention in the review, but the new costumes' gloves actually go over the magic gloves.
I loved that, wish they'd have the older costumes do the same.

That was a helpful review. I think I'm going to buy this DLC. I've beaten the game and I need something new to do. This looks it includes a lot of new content. Awesome.
