Bang! Gunship Elite Review - PAGE 4
K. Lee - Monday, August 14th, 2000

Final Thoughts

Nineteen missions are included in Bang! Gunship Elite. There are three difficulty settings in the single player game. The three dimensional universe also features a high-performance Collision Detection System for enhanced gameplay. In addition, the artificial intelligence adapts to the skill level of the gamer making it a more intense entertainment game for all users. Over five different alien races make up the enemy, which generates new and original game battles. Video resolution can be configured up to 1600 by 1200 pixels and a 3D accelerated video card is needed. Other system requirements include a Pentium II 233 megahertz processor with thirty-two megabytes of RAM. A maximum of eight players is supported with IPX and TCP/IP protocols.

If you own a joystick, this is a definitely a game to have in your collection. The outstanding graphics and enjoyable storyline will satisfy most gamers who enjoy the 360-degree action genre. Piloting a spacecraft is not easy, and takes a bit of patience. However, this game’s learning curve is fairly easy for those of you who are familiar with three-dimensional action games. And gamers, who are new to this variety, will find it relatively easy to get comfortable within the cockpit of a state of the art space fighter. As most of the games from Red Storm are comparatively first-class, this game is another one of the production company’s achievements. The developing team Rayland Interactive should be praised for a game that hit the target. Bang! Gunship Elite will be rated at an eight two out of one hundred. Playing this game is a great way to spend leisure time, and also a great way to out perform your friends with your piloting skills.
