Ah, good review. I've heard about this game but haven't really looked into it much. I still remember playing Backyard Baseball 2001 for at least three hours a day many years ago.

Putting it on the Wii and throwing in motion controls looks like it was a good move though. ^__^

It's a really fun game, I was shocked to snag so many people in with it while I was reviewing it. It's great fun and after a long day it seems anyone was able to get lost in a few games of it. The control is simple, up swing for a power shot and down swing to play little ball and get runners on base.

Yeah, the Backyard games were always good for some casual fun. I remember back in the day where a daily, albeit quick, session of any of the Backyard Sports games I had (which I had a lot, haha, a couple of Footballs, Baseballs, Soccers, Hockey and Basketball) would add up and before you knew it you had completed a whole season while still having loads of fun. I never could sit there and play more than a few games (of any sport really) though, but that just added to the casual aspect of it.

The price of this one isn't that bad either. Only $30 new. Very tempting for anyone. =P
