The final four bands were, in no particular order:
Puppies Love Us
Monkey Mother
Elfsar Rocks
The Floaters
Sadly, the Rock Band contest was a contest of skill, not just awesomeness, and the judges stuck to the rules - denying The Skeletor Experience Featuring Meatbags their rightful place among the final four. Curse you He-Man!
The final four got back up on stage for one more Rock Band showdown and when the cheering ended and the dust settled, the final standings were:
#4 - The Floaters
#3 - Monkey Mother
#2 - Puppies Love Us
#1 - Elfsar Rocks
With mad skills, wicked costumes and a solid stage presence, Elfsar Rocks won the day! They scored a ton of loot, prestige and a ton of applause from the crowd. They took a bow before joining the crowd for some movie time (the Rio is a theater after all!)
Originally a selection of indie Lovecraft movies were going to be shown as well, but the Rock Band contest ran a little long and they had to be cut for time. But, the HP Lovecraft historical society still went all retro on the audience with their black & white, silent, Call of Cthulhu movie. It ran about an hour and was a great show that gave the crew time to get the stage ready for the Thickets.
Winning the top position let Chris "Corroded Artery" of Elfsar Rocks join the Darkest of the Hillside Thickets on the stage during their rock show to sing their Rock Band DLC song "Shhh..." along with the band after the movies. Here he is, on stage with the Thickets with a borrowed puzzle-piece helmet on his head and the song lyrics in one hand!

Wrapping up Cthulhupalooza we have a final word from Chris Stewart - the mile-a-minute event organizer who goes by Stewbacca on the site and was so busy making the event happen that he didn't have a chance to say hi until now!
