I agree that what Ubisoft did for Assassin's Creed 2 probably looked good on paper, but not anywhere else. I haven't had much problems with it, but I also haven't been able to play at times because of unsteady connections or choked bandwidth.

I really like these folks.

They're taking a lot of risks and working more like gamers than business people. As someone who would like to take nearly all the business folk in the world and run 'em through a woodchipper* I can really appreciate that.

Sony is the one I can think of off the top of my head, good to see that it's a chunk of the industry, not a single company.

Great article..! Very interesting read.

I bet Impulse will become about as big as Steam one day...which is a great thing for gamers in general.
