Is the only reason for Skyrim not being in the PC section (as part of the main list) because there is no PC review of it yet? Also, Terraria didn't get a mention (it's an EXCELLENT cheap game, and worth 10's of hours of gaming time, and is getting an expansion-sized update on December 1st no less).

I saw some games I liked personally on the list (Like Dead Island, Saints Row The Third, etc). I have the PC versions of them, but that's aside, they're good games

I saw that D4 got a mention. Nice to see NIS get some attention, even if I didn't personally like this outing as much as the previous ones (D4 being about on par with D2 for me, in terms of how much I liked it).

That (as mentioned), and it's not terribly well-optimized at the moment. Terraria I haven't played much but I am somewhat familiar with, yes. Can't really recommend that to the average person either way though due to the lack of server browser.

Thanks for the awesome list, although I agree that I'm surprised Terraria wasn't mentioned. Or Minecraft, considering the full game is released come tomorrow.

Definately a good list, and a lot of it is up to opinion and I like the spread of games you've got there. Very happy Bastion is there, a little outraged portal 2 is only an honourable mention, but very nice PC list.

Actual list is based on reviewed titles for the company in the 2011 year, we're picking up a lot of major titles each year so we're comfortable basing the lists on the pool of what we review in a given year.

The mentions are there to supplement for titles the authors didn't get to check out but felt strongly about as enjoyable titles out there.

Alright! Good going, you guys! This is actually a list that is worth showing friends and family, but you did miss some.
Specifically in the Nintendo part.

A top-notch DS game that was released recently was Solatorobo: Red The Hunter, and even though you got some goodies in the Honorable Mentions, you still missed gems like Star Fox 64 3D and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars for the 3DS.

Moving to the Wii, even though it is on every Home Console, Rayman Origins still deserves praise in the Wii list as well. Oh, and you put Bit.Trip SAGA in the 3DS section, but missed Bit.Trip Complete for Wii!

Other than the few hidden gems, (that everyone overlooks anyways) it was a good list.

Kik36 actually reviewed Solatorobo if I remember right, as I said above it's based on our company review samples from the industry and less of a wish list of games we wish we could have tried. I know it's not 100% complete for what we would like but without Nintendo of America throwing us constant releases we're always going to be at a loss for the Nintendo platforms.

It's finally breaking from Beta? Wow, I may have to update mine and play around.

I love how the new Deus Ex is recommended to "Deus Ex cultists", it's totally true.

Definitely a good game, but didn't quite make the list this year. As someone already mentioned the list is dependent on opinion, so there will always be some games we don't catch. There's always a sleeper hit or two I don't hit upon until later, and I'm always up for someone to point them out to me!

Check out my review for Solatorobo....I'd love to hear your feedback on it.

That was an excellent review. Thank you very much for leading me to it. It sums up the game perfectly, and I couldn't have said it better myself.

Going back to the list, I will say that it is worth showing relatives, but as anyone else can say, I would obviously make my own rather than give them some games that are popular.

If you have any more reviews, I'd love to read them, but mostly just for Nintendo Consoles, as I rarely ever play anything on my PC.

Call me stupid, but I can't see shit for the Wii? Didn't bother to review games for the Wii or am I just dumb?

Unfortunately we reviewed only a handful of Wii titles this year, and none of them were fit for this guide. The titles others are referring to were actually from last year's guide (recently rectified mistake on our part).
